About the event
Steve Toohey, President of Operation Flags of Freedom and a supporter of our mission at the Canton Ruck Run 5K to honor local veterans, has asked for our help.
Steve and his team have been tasked with placing flags at the McKinley Monument and around the pond area—where we meet for The Canton Climb walking club—in preparation for the community’s July 4th celebration.
We’re looking for volunteers to join us on Wednesday, July 1st to help place the flags and show up for our community together.
This is a meaningful way to serve, connect, and build community while honoring those who served.
